About Endless Jetlag

I’ve been traveling the world for over twenty years, both for business and pleasure. Thanks to my career, I’ve had the rare privilege of engaging with people across dozens of cultures—not just as a visitor, but as a colleague, a guest, and often, a friend. My travels haven’t been confined to tour groups or sightseeing itineraries. They’ve unfolded in boardrooms, on backstreets, over shared meals, and in chance encounters that have left a lasting impression.

What makes this journey so meaningful to me is the opportunity to experience cultures in both professional and personal contexts. This taught me that true connection goes far beyond language. It’s is found in gestures, in shared stories, in laughter, and sometimes in simply showing up with an open heart. I’ve come to believe deeply that real compassion for others begins when we meet them on their home turf, with humility and curiosity. There is something transformative about being invited into someone else’s everyday world. It shifts your perspective in ways that postcards and selfies never could.

Travel, for me, isn’t about checking off landmarks. It’s about listening, learning, and being changed by what you find. It’s about seeking out the quieter, less polished places where real life happens. And, it’s about embracing the discomfort and beauty that come with that. These experiences have shaped who I am, and I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude to be able to share them with you.

My hope is that the stories on this site inspire you to step off the beaten path, to slow down, and to look a little closer. Because the world is vast, complex, and full of grace. The more we understand each other, the better we all become.
